Why CaringMeals?

In my Sunday Bible Study, I observed my friends pass around a paper signup sheet for bringing meals to a friend who just had a baby. I knew it must be an arduous task to coordinate meals: carrying the signup sheet, making numerous phone calls, adjusting the schedule, etc. There must be a better way...

The idea of bringing this activity to the web made perfect sense. Everyone has an email address. Why not put the signup page on the web let people manage the meals themselves? After a few hours of work, CaringMeals was born, and it was an immediate success.
